Exeter Festival Chorus once again demonstrates its versatility with an adventurous choral programme of music from several genres, aiming to entertain and appeal to all generations.
Younger than Springtime - A programme of songs to celebrate the arrival of spring with a bit of everything, from madrigals to jazz and pop, at the Barnfield Theatre.
With words by Shakespeare, Lennon and McCartney, and even the well-known author ‘anon’, and music by Carl Orff, George Shearing, Bob Chilcott and many others, there really is something for everyone in this light-hearted programme of songs to lift the spirit. A South Pacific medley has been specially written for us by Bernard Wight and March 15 will be its "World Première".
The birds are singing, the sap is rising - and to thoughts of love, the mind of man is turned.
