EFC was delighted to be asked by the Royal Marines to perform Eternal Voices again – this time in Coventry Cathedral on Saturday 15th October 2011, with St Michael’s Singers and The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines. This concert proved to be another wonderful occasion and you can see a slide show of photos taken during the rehearsal and the concert by clicking on the Gallery tab at the top of the page.
In November 2010 Exeter Festival Chorus helped to raise over £24,000 for the Royal Marines’ Charities with the première of Eternal Voices, by composer Adam Gorb and librettist Ben Kaye. Eternal Voices is a challenging choral piece and a very moving musical experience; it explores the stories of the real people behind the news headlines from the current conflict in Afghanistan.

The Radio 3 programme, The Choir, (Sunday 3 April 2011) included a 20 minute feature on Eternal Voices and it can be heard by clicking on this link.
