Exeter Festival Chorus

On 28 June 2008, in Exeter Cathedral, the Chorus joined with choirs from Hanau, Bad Homburg and Rennes and with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Nigel Perrin, to perform Verdi’s Requiem as part of the Exeter Summer Festival 2008.

It was a thrilling event, which took a great deal of careful organisation. The Chorus was delighted to welcome our visitors from Germany and France. Old friendships were renewed and new friendships made.
